The Worst Job I Ever Had

The worst job I ever had was xeroxing insurance forms 8 hours a day. I worked with a college student and six other ladies- well that was not that bad.

The really worst job I ever had was being the cook at The Shark Bar. I was slow and they wanted fast. I saved food and gave it to my friends late at night. Lots of fries for my buddies. That got me fired. I did not last a week. That was not so bad.

The really, really worst job I ever had was at the library-now that was bad. That lady hated me. Was it my fault that the books I shipped fell out of the envelope before they arrived? I don’t know what happened. She got so mad and yelled at me and then I was fired. It actually was not that bad.

Oh and then there was the time I became a painter. It was not the worst job but Ron thought that was the worst. After the paint went on the wood and furniture, I kicked the bucket on the floor. We thought it was not a good fit.

The far worst job I ever had was putting in a gas line at a gas station. You try breaking up concrete by hand, smelling the gas perfumes and chipping at rock with a chisel in New York 95⁰ hot and humid weather. I quit that job.
